Ben Honan

ADVISOR

A specialist in technology companies navigating complex political environments, Ben has over a decade’s experience advising on reputation for clients from seed start-ups to international governments.

Ben studied law and politics at university, spending a sabbatical year as President of the Students’ Union. He moved to London and joined Brunswick, where he met Paternoster founder Tom Buchanan, who has been a colleague and mentor for much of Ben’s career.

After a stint at Seven Hills, working with tech advocacy and fintech clients, he was recruited by Prevalent AI as the company’s first employee, working directly with a founding team that included the former Director and Deputy Director of GCHQ. In this role he owned corporate messaging, product messaging, executive comms and media relations, building the comms function from scratch.

Ben’s experience spans crisis communications, government relations and corporate transactions, including IPOs and private equity deals. He has deep experience in technology policy and issues management across defence, financial services and emerging tech sectors. Outside of work he is a coach at London Legends basketball club in Peckham.
